Description
The Siberian Husky is a medium-sized, compact sled dog breed that originated in Siberia, Russia. They are known for their thick double coat, triangular ears, and distinctive markings. The Chukchi people of northeastern Asia developed the Siberian Husky over thousands of years to be strong, fast, and resilient sled dogs that could withstand harsh climates. In the early 1900s, people brought Huskies to Alaska for sled-dog racing.
